How Monkey Eats

Fo reals, yo. This is how Monkey chooses to ingest his soft food--I hear taking smaller bites aids in digestion.

What a cutie! My cat does the same with hard food, and puts her paw in water to drink out of her paw, but I'd never thought about doing that with soft food :)

As I was watching this, my orange cat was scooping out her dry kibble, occasionally dropping it in the water bowl, then fishing it out with her paw to eat it. Silly cats!!

My cat used to do the exact same thing. You can break them of the habit if you smack their paws with a pencil every time they go fishing in their food bowl. Hope this helps!!! <@:)

Yeah, Monkey uses his paw to scoop up dry food as well. Then he either "hunts" it, or else plays with it and leaves it strewn about the house.

He often flips both dry kibble and wet food into the various water dishes so I have to refresh them multiple times a day.

Oh, and the dry food thing is totally my fault because I taught him that chasing kibble was a game. But it keeps him busy...
